The stranger who comes to town and saves the day, only to vanish into the night. The individual who relies on his wits and strength to push faster and further than anyone else. The man who relies on his judgement to find the path to victory. Look around at the world today. What do you see? Politicians who lie and evade. Businessmen who defraud their investors, employees and customers. Leaders who fail to lead. Look at the people around you. Just ordinary people who never say what they mean. People who refuse to think or act. People who see danger and run away. I’m not one of those people. And if you’re here, I'm guessing you’re not either.
Meet a friend of mine: Spencer Compton
He’s a US Army Ranger. Or at least he was until a scheming subordinate had him forced out of the service. He bounced around for awhile but men like Compton have friends. They never forgot him and now they need him. That’s the beginning of the story of Thy Brother’s Keeper.
I spent years working in the corporate world. In a world of numbers, lies and cowardice. In a world where integrity, common sense and heroism had no place. I didn’t like that world, so I made a better one. That’s the world of Spencer Compton, where the best, the smartest and bravest fight for the highest stakes. For me it’s the only kind of world that really matters. See if it matters to you.

Spencer Compton’s luck had run out. After being drummed out of the US Army Rangers he drifts across America until reaching a cliff edge in California. A strange twist of fate brings him back to life, back to a world where he once belonged. His former CO and mentor Steven Donovan has broken into Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp and freed the most dangerous terrorist in the world, Farhad Ahmadi. Driven to find Donovan, Compton discovers that the escape is part of a Jihadist conspiracy only weeks away from unleashing a global war. With time short Spencer Compton must race across the world to break the conspirators and avert total destruction.
Spencer Compton is 6' 2" with a lean narrow face and grey eyes. The hair is dark and kept short. Powerful build. Toned but not overly muscled. He typically dresses in thrift store clothing; jeans or slacks with a t-shirt and leather jacket. There are no scars on his face but two large ones on his back. He is highly intelligent and contemptuous of society.
He trusts very few people. He is guided by a highly personal and thoroughly felt sense of honor. Compton's gait is steady and wide with a sort of cat like grace. His physical movements are calculated and contained. Those who meet him have the sense of a powerful energy that might explode under the right circumstances.
He is indifferent to money, power or fame. He has a general sense of curiosity and a keen belief in his own competence. Most people who met him consider him arrogant however this is simply a product of his own skepticism toward the wider world.
